Booker High School Foundation, in collaboration with BHS VPA, Inc., proudly presents:


An evening to remember… for good

In celebration of the 100-year anniversary of Newtown,as well as the 50th anniversary of the Selma protests, Booker High School is hosting an eclectic evening combining the screening of the documentary “Selma: The Bridge to the Ballot,” with dance, music, spoken word and a panel discussion. The evening reflects upon civil rights struggles and celebrates the triumphs that have been made in disintegrating racial barriers and nurturing tolerance. The event will be at 6:30 pm, May 4, 2015, in the VPA Theatre.

Tickets are for sale, $10 for general admission, and a minimum $100 contribution for VIP admission, which includes special reserved seats, as well as a dessert reception after the event.
